I am Niki Goodson, Master Gardener and Garden Coach on the border of Zone 7A (the West Philly suburb of Ardmore). I combine the roles of garden designer, landscaper, and teacher. Depending on what you need: I design your garden, install plantings or coach you to DIY, and train you how to care for your growing garden through many seasons to come using industry best practices.
I carefully coordinate natives and non-natives/non-invasives for diverse color, form, texture, and wildlife year round. Low-maintenance is also priority for the busy home-owner.
Your garden is an extension of your home, personal style, and family needs. Let's revitalize outdated and overgrown landscaping, provide curb appeal, support local pollinators and birds, and improve your overall wellness by creating an outdoor space you love being in.
Do you need help with maintenance? I can coach you through it step by step. Your garden will grow as your knowledge, experience, and confidence does. We maintain a sustainable garden by weeding, pruning, watering and managing pests and diseases. Through these tasks, you will also become more in tune with your garden's role in our natural community. Gardening becomes less of a chore... and more of an escape!
Join this community of local gardeners. Share skills, successes, questions, plants, and a general love of learning and experimenting in the garden.
